Surya Brasil Products Brown Henna Cream, Ash Blonde, 2.37 Fluid Ounce

I have been using henna for decades.. I only use Surya lotion in the early days. I had to use the powder. It was very messy and took a long time just to get the water blended with the powder. Lotion is the best I mix multiple colors to re-create my natural hair color. It has been more than effective and successful. I have never tried another product because this is so superior I’ve never had to look. As I age and I become more and more gray, I use different colors and lighten it.

I left this henna dye on my hair for about 3 hours before rinsing it off with warm water. It's the first time I used a brown hair dye. The colour seemed really intense at first and covered really well, it took me a few days to get used to it and after about 2 weeks it settled really well, looked fantastic and really natural. It is now about 4 weeks post dying my hair and it still retains colour and looks much better than before using the Surya Brasil - Henna Cream. I would say though (not a criticism of the product but might be useful to know) this is NOT a cream. It has the consistency of a thick-ish hair shampoo. Which makes it spread arouond the scalp easily (that's what you want).I will definitely buy this again.

This is exactly what I was looking for as far as a product goes: easy to use, natural, not over the top. My light brown hair was almost completely white/gray in the front and ash blond/with a little dark blond in the back. My hair turned out a pretty shade of goldish blond, definitely not ash. I only left it on for 30 minutes or so which is the minimum recommended time; I suspect the orange-hair horror stories left it on for the full 60 minutes and I might well be in the group if I had done that. The color didn't look like Ash Blond from the bottle, and I checked the bottle and box several times because I honestly thought there was a chance it was mixed up with another color. Now, I just think there is a chance they had a manufacturing snafu and shipped a lot of mislabeled product. I don't know about longevity yet, but I did not want color that lasts so I am hopeful it will start to soften and fade with each wash, but I only wash my hair every 5-7 days, so it may take a while. This is the only product I found that lasts longer than the temporary, one-shampoo products (and those are mostly art colors, not hair colors) and semi-permanent products containing harsh chemicals.

This product is easy to apply with No scent! The color stays much longer than I thought it would. I highly recommend this!

This is the color only, there is no plastic bag to cover your hair or gloves to protect your skin. It is called a kit but the box now contains color and instructions only. The instructions mention the plastic bag and gloves but they are no longer included. I have been buying this from Amazon for years and they have always been included, no more. The price has increased though.

I didn't notice any difference, I was confused by the instructions for wearing wet hair, but some gray hairs were dyed. Looks very dark for me. No kit inside

I love this product! I have been using it for about 2 years and it's so comfortable to use.The advantages are many:1) It will not strip your hair of color and ruin it like other colors do2) It gives you very natural hues, depending on your original hair color. Do not expect it to color hair that was too dark to begin with, it will not work for that, but if your hair used to be blonde or light brown, it will work3) You can use a little bit and then close the bottle and reuse it over and over until you are done with it4) No mess. If you make your clothes dirty, it will wash away eventually, because it is not permanent.5) You can mix it with other colors of the same line6) If you make a mistake, you can wash it away or cover it with a different color7) When it starts fading, it does so gradually not suddenly, so you have time to reapply before the whites show8) It covers most of my white hair (I have about 30% whites9) I leaves your hair soft10) It contains natural ingredients and does not smellDisadvantage:It is supposed to last for about 8 weeks, but it starts fading after the third shampoo, even though it hangs in there for another maybe 3-5 shampoos. You solve the problem by reapplying.I totally recommend this Surya Brasil product!
