Gutermann 24339 Sew-All Thread 547 Yards-Cobalt Blue

I have sewed over 700 mask since the start of the pandemic. I had issues with other brands that are known to be top quality but they simply fell short of the mark. Starting using this thread and never looked back. It is all I will use now. Low piling and super strong. Usually after a couple of hundred mask, I noticed I needed to dust out my bobbin case but not with Gutterman. It does not foul up the bobbin case. The main reason I love this thread is "CONSISTENCY" I would like a Nickel for everytime I had to adjust my tension due to the thread. Not with this stuff! Come on COATS get it together because I have used your thread with knots and varying thickness within the same spool! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WHEN BUYING THIS THREAD> HIGHLY RECOMMEND. By the way, I almost sent my Brother sewing machine back due to bad thread and bad needles. NO MORE CHEAP STUFF FOR ME!

The thread was a little lighter weight than I expected, so I worried that it would fray or go fuzzy, or be difficult to thread the needle and work with. It was actually great to sew with - no loose strands or bits unwinding, knots stay put and it didn't coil back on itself too much when pulling a stitch through. Also the color is so saturated that it almost glows, really gorgeous thread and I'm going to have to find more cobalt blue projects to work on now!

Wow! I'm so impressed. I've always used coats & clark thread. It's what my mom and grandmother used. So it's what I used. During covid-19 I couldn't find the color I wanted so I tried Gutermann. It's so smooth. It's going to be my new go to for sewing.

It was blue, strong and didn't hose up my vintage Singer 301 tension. Just what I needed.

This brand is a little expensive if you pay full price, but it is very good quality thread.

There was actually more on the spool than expected. Were satisfied with the overall product.

Color is true. Quality I expected. Perfect for standard sewing machine. Enough thread to last for a big project!

This thread is brilliant for me, I use this in a Brother NV800e along with many other Gutermann colours. The quality of the thread is fairly evident, with no snapping ever occurring (touch wood) on this particular brand.
