OK, OK this jacket is amazing
So the quality of the fabric and material is not only very very comfortable, but it is very good at what it does rain snow it performs very well. The hood in the lining on it fantastic been out and pouring rain not a ounce of water on me, tried it in the snow was warmer than everybody around me Pockets are very functional meaning you can put things in places and completely forget about them if you want all round jacket, specially if you’re in a cold area, this is the one that you want the next jacket I’m gonna need I’m buying from them. I purchased one for me and my now my wife has one my two children and I got a few other friends that are ordering as well. You won’t be mad. Besides if you picked the wrong color FYI, black is very clean, but the green looks good too.

Very warm! Worked great snow skiing and ATV'ing!
I really love this jacket, and for the price, you really can't beat it! I first tested the warmth over ATV'ing in the mountains over Thanksgiving and was very warm!Breathable often has the tradeoff with wind-resistant jackets (in my opinion), I wore this ripping through the mountains on an ATV in 14° weather and felt nothing under the jacket. If you are looking for breathable, this is probably not ideal for you, if you are looking for warm, this is it!I have now worn this skiing in Whistler and my face and hands got cole, but the jacket kept me very warm the entire time. In fact, I started with 2 layers, went down to just a Smartwool thermal, and now am only using a very thin thermal because I was getting too hot while skiing. My fiancé has a very expensive brand name jacket and says it should be more breathable and doesn't like that when it rains, it does appear to absorb water. I have seen the jacket absorb water and sometimes it does feel a little wet inside at the end of the day, but I have remained dry, so I'm not sure if it's from the rain or sweat. She has also gotten cold in her fancy expensive breathable jacket while wearing additional layers and I haven't even gotten remotely cold even at the top of the mountain on a very snowy day only wearing a very thin long sleeve thermal I got from Costco.I'll post a video down the road but here's some photos and a quick and easy review for now. I love the jacket, it's very warm, inexpensive, and perfect for me as an inexperienced skier that has ended up on the ground in the snow a few times and was also born in Miami, so I am not a fan of being cold. It also has an attached sleeve with thumbholes that I wear a glove liner under and keeps the jacket up and cold weather out.I'm 5'9" / 165 lbs / true medium. The medium fit is perfect.Pros: Very warm, true to size, keeps you dry and warm in the rain, snow, and wind. Very comfortable, zip pockets, velcro sleeve, removable hood that fits over a helmet, and the thumbhole sleeve.Cons: One of the pocket zippers is hard to zip up and down, but hasn't broken. Doesn't breathe, so you may get hot and if you are sweating, your phone or items may get wet if it's in your pocket. Will post a video soon, this is what I've got for now!

Very well-made, looks good, lightweight, great jacket!
This is a great jacket. Not only is it warm, it is roomy, has loads of pockets, great hood and withstands any kind of weather here in New England. It is not bulky at all. I bought it as a gift for my husband replacing a Northface jacket that he had had for years. And he loves this! He is extremely happy With it, so I am extremely happy!

Great Jacket, Warm, Plenty of Pockets
OK, I purchased this jacket to replace a 25 year old North Face, waterproof jacket. The waterproof seams on the jacket all gave out and it was not financially practical to try and get the jacket re-seamed with waterproof tape (sigh). At the same time, North Face no longer makes the blue jacket in that 'ancient' style, which I liked, and I do not like their new model. This jacket is a LOT heavier than the North Face jacket, due to the lining ( North Face had no lining. It was just for keeping you dry, which meant you could wear it in spring, rainy season. This jacket would be too warm to wear in a non-cold weather season, so keep that in mind ). Unlike the North Face jacket, which had arm pit venting, this jacket has no venting, so you cannot 'aerate'. My only concern is if this jacket is truly 'waterproof', which time will only tell. My North Face jacket was good for pouring rain, not sure about this one. 'Waterproof' does not mean the same, to all manufacturers. They talk about the product being 'water resistant', up to a certain point. That is not the same as 'waterproof'.ADDENDUMFound out that North Face does have a Gore-Tex, waterproof blue jacket, which comes in two parts. Lightweight jacket, and a 'puffy' jacket for wearing underneath, if it is cold. Still don't like the color design, but the two part design of light weight jacket, or combined with the puffy jacket could work for some. Gee, it is only $450!
