PrimusStainless Steel Campfire Cookset | Nesting Pots & Pan for Camping and Outdoor Cooking

I recently purchased this set and was pleasantly surprised! I purchased it days before my camping trip I normally do not like camp cookware sets because they usually have fillers that are just not necessary. (Utensils, cups, colanders, teapot etc.) I wanted a quality stackable cook set to downsize packing. I needed a compact set that wasn’t cheap and had the routine thin bottom pot & pan base that burns everything. These pots & pans cooked evenly and cleaned easily! The pan has a really nice thick base. The pots didn’t have the same base but still cooked great! No sticking and no hot spots. I used them several times a day for 11 days (on camp stove) and they still look brand new. I haven’t tried them on camp fire yet but have no reason to think they wouldn’t perform well. I’m really happy with this set. If I had to find con with this set- It would be the large pot handle. It’s a little difficult to get it back in the bag. It does go back in and seals closed with the drawstring bag… but I think it’s the shape of the pot handle. (It’s has angles) It slides nicely down to fit the pot but because of the angled shape it made it difficult to maneuver back in the bag. Either make the bag slightly bigger or maybe round off the handle. Small complaint but it’s still manageable. Happy with my purchase!

Gewohnte Primus Qualtiät! Seit vielen Jahren das kleinere Set im Einsatz gehabt.Nun mehr Personen; somit mussten größere her.Ja, Edelstahl dauert der Liter Wasser etwas länger bis es kocht als in den dünnen Alutöpfen; jedoch isst Auge (zumindest meines) ja mit.An der Pfanne sind recht schnell angebrannte Stellen sichbar, sollte sie zum Braten von z.B. Fleisch genutzt werden.Für 4 Personen Nudeln kochen stellt mit dem großen Topf kein Problem dar, sofern nicht jeder 2 riesen Portionen isst. Wir sind zwei erwachsen und zwei Kinder und es reicht wunderbar. Aber gut; gibt ja unterschiedliche "Mägen" ;-)Aber Tipp: Seid ihr Wohnwagen-Camper mit etwas mehr Platz im gepäckt, dann kauft was größeres.

Did quite a bit of research into camping pots and pans before committing to this set. I wanted something durable, built to last and definitely nothing with non-stock coating as a) it wears off/scratches and the pans become useless and b) these coatings can contain some pretty dreadful things that I definitely don't want my family ingesting. That left me looking for a durable stainless steel set and I am please to say that the research paid off. This is a fantastic set that meets my family's needs perfectly.Two decent sized saucepans (both with lids) and a good sized frying pan all stack into each other and then fit into a canvas storage bag with a drawstring. They have handles/lids that fold/tuck away when stored, but that firmly clip into place when needed. The lids have a leather tab on them which you can use to avoid touching the hot metal handle if you prefer (which I think is a brilliant feature).They aren't the lightest - we car camp (drive to campsites) so this isn't an issue for us, but if you're backpacking, this set probably won't be for you. The weight makes them feel more sturdy/durable, in my opinion. The combo of 2 different sized pans and a frying pan means that this set is super versatile - we are yet to find a dish that we can't cook using this combo.I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase and would highly recommend to other families who car camp. If you're on the fence about buying this set, just order it and see for yourself - you can always return it if it's not what you want, but I doubt it won't be! I will be looking to Primus for other camping kit in the future.

Klein verpackt und absolut hochwertig!!

Platzsparend, nicht die leichtesten aber für den Wohnwagen genau richtig. Die Qualität ist unschlagebar, merkt man aber auch am Preis. Nicht das erste Primus Produkt das ich empfehle.
