X-keys Keycap Cherry MX Compatible (Single, Transparent, 10 Pack)

Just what I needed. I did not use these with the intended x-keys pads but these keycaps are compatible with Cherry MX style switches. Good quality, The label caps are easy to open and close. I was able to simply print up some custom labels and cut them to size fairly easily. I got the transparent keycaps which allow for the RGB lighting to shine through well.

Overall very good keycaps. The only thing I feel odd is the shape , it is too flat and a kind of hard for me to press. But different people have different tastes, the build quality and the transparency is very good.

They do what they do - best to use plain white paper as Background of whatever you are printing. Tried clear transparent paper and ink smudged off far to easily. The Two round edges go together so assemble is a snitch.

I use these mainly for testing switches, and they work great. The clips that keep the top covers in place are tiny and detach with almost no resistance, but they stay in place surprisingly well. I did some drop tests to see if they pop off easily, and maybe only 1 out of 10 detached. Then I removed and replaced one of the covers 100 times, and it still stayed in place just fine. I put some on my WASD keys to see how they handle heavy usage. After two months of daily abuse, the keycaps definitely have a little battle damage. They developed minor dents, and the rough surface was worn smooth. Closer inspection revealed that the top covers actually deformed, and weren't just eroded. The surface also felt a little softer and stickier where my fingers wore the finish down, so the plastic seems to have reacted with my skin. I have a fairly mild skin pH, so the effect will be a lot worse if you have acidic fingers. TL;DR: The plastic seems to be vulnerable to skin oils, and visibly wears down within just a few weeks of daily usage. Perfect for intermittent applications like macro pads, but not ideal for primary keys that get a lot of skin contact.

These customizable caps are excellent! Easy to assemble, great light transmission with RGB keyboards. Recommended

These are some awesome keycaps. I wanted something to throw onto one of my older boards to spice it up and change the feel so I'd know the keys a bit better without looking. While they're a bit flatter surfaced and sometimes rather easy to slip off of, they work. They could use some work, maybe by adding divots to them so they aren't as flat? Still, if you wanna spice up a board or just use them for other purposes, recommended.

These keycaps are not intended for the use I put them to, but they work great for it. The Corsair K95 RGB keyboard has a set of shortcut keys that are somewhat oddly sized. These keycaps fit perfectly on the K95, and allow you to add labels so you can remember what shortcut you've set to which key. Not the intended use, but one for which they work great.

It works great, just as intended.
