Best Naturals Prebiotics Fiber XOS (Xylo Oligosaccharide) 1400mg Serving 120 Veg Capsules

For some reason inulin has never made much of an impact on my gut. I recently read about Xylo oligosaccharide as a prebiotic food to increase the good bacteria. I have a problem producing good bacteria as I have recently discovered I have small intestine bacterial over growth. So I bought this to try and can feel the difference when taken with a good probiotic.

I have a stomach condition and often find after a course of antibiotics I'm left with an upset digestive tract for weeks (sometimes up to two months!!) thankfully these seem to be doing the trick by increasing my fibre uptake and also ensuring that the good bacteria levels are restored in my stomach.Tablet Size - Medium-LargeSmell - Yes (unable to describe)Taste - Mild plastic like tasteRelatively easy to swallow, and don't taste too bad. As always with a fibre supplement ensure you take it 4 hours after any other medication otherwise you may impact absorption rates.

Me personally i take these with probiotics, as the 2 mixed together have an even more effective outcome on the stomach.After being severely ill with food poisoning these sped up my recovery process, and since then I've been taking them regularly.Not only have they had a positive effect after illness but they also help with my IBS too.I havnt had any negative side effects whilst taking these.These are most effective when not taken with caffeine.Recommended.

These arrive in a HDPE bottle that is recyclable. There are 120 capsules in the container which has a safety/tamper seal & bsomething I've not seen in a pill bottle in years; a cotton-wool ball to stop the contents moving about.There seems to be some confusion as to dosage though! One section says;"Serving size: 2 vcapsServings per container: 60"Then directly below this it says;"...take one (1) tablet daily..."Now I don't imagine taking a little extra prebiotic a day will cause any harm, but I seriously dislike conflicting information as to dosage on a pill bottle. Hence why I knocked off a star.There are the usual warnings about for adults only & don't take if pregnant & to speak to a medical practitioner before starting them Plus to stop taking them if you have any adverse reactions, all pretty boiler plate stuff on a supplement bottle.There are" No Artificial Colour, Flavor or Sweetener, No Preservatives, No Sugar, No Starch, No Corn, No Soy, No Egg, No Lactose, No Gluten, No Wheat, No Yeast, No Fish" & the capsules are made of vegetable cellulose; though it doesn't categorically state if the capsules are vegetarian or vegan.The product descriptions says "Best Naturals Prebiotics Fiber XOS (Xylo Oligosaccharide) 1400mg serving 120 Veg Capsules" & the ingredient list is "Prebiotic Fiber, Vegetable Stearate, Silica, Vegetable Cellulose (Capsule)"I have to take a large amount of tablets every day & some of them cause upset to my digestive system, so I find taking these in conjunction with probiotics & a healthy diet helps me not feel nauseous & my digestive process working fine. ~They don't have any real aftertaste after swallowing & no strong odour from the bottle.They are priced at £14.99 at the moment which may seem slightly pricey but it works out to 12½p per day for 3 months supply if you are taking one a day as I am, I'm happy to spend that to keep me healthy & not feeling awful every morning when I take my tablets.

This has reduced the bloated feeling I was getting and is gentle on the stomach. Also easy enough to swallow without any no strange smells or after taste, very happy with this supplement.

Just started taking these recently. I take them alongside my usual biotics and not having any issues. I trust they're doing what's intended.

nice decent size tub for the money capsules are a good size easy enough to swallow and no aftertaste

Impressive that the capsules are a good size to swallow and are made of a vegan material.I am confused about how many to take each day as the label says 1 and 2 in different places.Certainly seems to help balance out my occasional digestive problems so I'm happy
