Excelente
Cumple su función, resolvió el problema del agua súper caliente del calentador solar, ahora solo abrir la llave de la regadera y sale a la temperatura perfecta. Tiene dos semanas instalado, espero que dure mucho tiempo, se ve de buena fabricación.

Surprisingly accurate and consistent with temperature dial setting.
Installed 2 weeks ago, under my kitchen sink down stream from a point of use 2.5 tank water heater (Bosch Tronic set to ~145 degrees. The dishwasher receives 145 degree temp, and the kitchen faucet now receives 115 degree temp).Install can be a bit tricky due to the 1/2 threads on this device are not the typical US NPT. They are G1/2 or BSPP. The FIP hose connector from Home Depot was able to fit nicely with no leaks (with use of the hose washer, see photo). I used this brass adapter (BOWSEN Pipe Fitting Adapter Female G1/2" Thread to Male NPT1/2" Thread Lead Free) on one end to connect it to a 1/2" Iron T (NPT) coming off of the Bosch water heater. As the photo hints, it needed 10 layers of Thread tape to avoid leaking. After set up I checked the output temperature over several days and was quite surprised to see how consistent it was on multiple occasions with various usage volumes.Only thing that would make it better is to also offer a 1/2 NPT version.I've also used a Honeywell AM101 mixing valve. Its hard to say which one is better. This one is certainly less expensive. I'm not sure if the Honeywell is offered with thread connectors.

Easy to install
With the ½" g thread fitting you must use the ½" FIP connection. This eliminates any thread tape and leaks. My install was 12" FIP to 3/8" compression for the valve and a 20" FIP to FIP for the flow switch. Easy and no leaks with just snugging up the connections. This valve is a great choice for our application.

accurate temperature, very satisfied
I use this to mix water from a water heater in an RV that can be at around 170F and mix it to shower/sink water temperature. It works great, very consistent. There's never been a temperature spike if there's cold water supplied to it. If the cold water tank is empty then it doesn't FULLY shut off the hot, and with no cold to mix in the temperature can go up but by then you usually have a sense that something is wrong because there's sputtering and whatnot. The trick you need to know here in America is that you need a gasket that will be compressed by the end of the threaded male end against the female end. I bought a pack of 50 silicone gaskets for a few dollars. 50PCS 5/8 Showerhead Gaskets, Litorange 50 PCS Leak Preventing Silicone. It's been working for about 8 months.
