As above, very very useful for scissors, small magnifying glasses and scads of uses around the house, as well as pens and pencils of course. Very, very happy to have them around -- one added great feature is being able to see through them to see what they hold.

They are well made and don't discolor after spraying them with Lysol. I bought them for work for our counters and desks. We got creative and made little signs that we laminated and used bread ties thru the mesh. Now our customers and employees have a "clean pens" and "dirty pens" cup that we hose down with Lysol after so many dirty pens. It works great and people comment on them all the time!

I was surprised to see how spacious the holder was and it held all the pens I had. I like the fact that they sell 4 Pack. It is perfect for both the home desk and office desk. I was also able to store some coins in it. Since the radius of its mouth is large, I am able to grab the change easily when I need it.Overall great product for the price!

AND, the bottom is absolutely FLAT which makes it as secure as possible when putting in tall scissors, etc. Some mesh holders have a cushion on the bottom that is slightly smaller than the actual bottom and that makes them a little "tippy".
