These are excellent aftermarket replacement shocks that are OEM quality. They are made in Japan and were a perfect fit on the rear of our 2004 RAV4. The shocks have a lifetime warranty and each included a bag of new mounting hardware and rubber bushings. My wife previously had a the original OEM rear shocks on her RAV4 replaced with a pair of Munroe 37199 shocks that were purchased and installed for eighty-five dollars each, plus labor, at the local Midas shop and they lasted just a little over two years before the one on the right side starting to leak fluid. This time I was able to replace them for her with these KYB shocks that were less than half the price for each and will no doubt last much longer than those overpriced rebranded Monroe shocks made by Tokicos did. Installing these new replacement shocks was fairly easy and straight forward requiring only a 14mm combination wrench, although having two 14mm wrenches would have made it easier to tighten down the top locknut while holding the nut just below it in position to counter tighten them. We are very happy with the ride quality from these shocks and the price for each here on Amazon was also the best I could find anywhere.

They work fine. I had to add more threads to the studs on the top of the shock. From the factory it did not have enough threads to tighten the nut to compress the rubber bushings. Easy fix but should have been correct from the start. This is the second kyb shock where I have had this issue.

Perfect fit for my 2003 rav4. I should've replaced my shocks a longgg time ago. My drives feel so much smoother
