Magnetic Sewing Thread Lubricator Box For Sewing Machine

Ok design . Sadly don’t fill it as it will leak out / evaporate over time. It’s best to fill about 1/4” maximum at time of use. I use hardware store silicone as it’s much cheaper than sewing brand silicone.

I find it hard to believe that the company is not aware of the issue with this product. I only filled the bottle 1/4 of the way up. Within few minutes all of the silicone had leaked out all. It was a huge mess. I was really hoping this product would work. I am returning for a refund.

my only complaint is that the metal capturing the magnet is too large and prevents the unit from having a strong connection to the machine. This problem makes the product flimsy and easily bumped out of position. Better to use the lesser option of screw connection

Installed this device and filled the jar with the contents of one bottle of sewer's aid. The lubricant then drained completely from the reservoir jar, soaking the pads and running over the base of the lubricator box and onto the sewing machine. Then, as the thread pulled through the box it was totally drenched with the lube to a point is contaminated the sewing machine tension discs.Lubricating thread makes sense, but this is not an acceptable means of application.
