The weights come handsomely packaged like a gift. First effort blew up and stuck on the gutter because they were incorrectly placed at the end of 4 red stripes. Oops! They work very well when placed along the bottom red stripe!! Well made and heavy enough for our windy location.

THE FLAG MAGNETS WERE A BAD IDEA!I put them on the 3’x5’ flag yesterday. It was windy this afternoon. Sitting on our couch looking out our sliding glass door at 5 pm I saw something red on the ground. Went out and saw it was one red magnet 🧲 from the flag above it.Looked at the flag and saw all 8 magnets were gone. I found none in a 6 foot area around the flag.Found a pair 10 ft north in our flower bed.Found a pair 20 ft east under garden railroad.Found a pair 30 feet northeast that broke our bedroom window by our garden swing.Found one mate of first 20 ft south by back gate.Like a bullwhip the flag in the wind shot them everywhere!Imagine if I was napping in the garden swing and woke up with a black eye or broken nose.I was surprised it happened because I placed them on the inside seam where the fabric was sewn double so they should not fly off …. But they did! 🙀

Heavy red magnets, fit perfectly in the red stripe. No flag movement, even in a gusty wind. Also used them to hold down bunting for the 4th of July. A must-have for picnic tablecloths as well.

I bought them to put on my outside US flag. I wanted the flag to stay glowing and not wrap around pole. They fell off the first day we had a small wind. Thank you!

These type of rubberized magnets are designed to be placed on flags to help prevent it from tangling in the wind. I purchased a less expensive set here on Amazon and the magnets kept falling off in the breeze, the flag tangled up on the mast, and just a mess. I'm not even talking a strong wind, but on a breezy day.They were junk and are being returned.Here is your Answer:No, not all magnets are the same or have the same holding power. These flag magnets are considerably stronger than the other set I purchased. You can actually feel them pull and click together. The rubber material covering the magnet is also of a better quality. This set has been on my flag for a while now and have not fallen off or allowed the flag to tangle on itself. They do the job they were intended to do and I'm pleased with them. Recommended product.10/18/2024 Update:This past week we had a pretty strong wind storm. There were fallen trees in a nearby park. I was certain that some of the magnets would have fallen off the flag. But none fell off and they held beautifully. Flag was not tangled and looks great. Just an FYI. Thanks.

At first, I was really happy with these magnetic flag anchors. They’re a nice size and weight—easy to work with and not bulky at all. They held my flag in the perfect position, and the red color blended in nicely with the design. However, once a typical Florida thunderstorm rolled in, the magnets didn’t stand a chance. They were flung off the flag and scattered throughout my yard and even into my neighbor’s. I was only able to recover 3 out of the original 8. Unfortunately, they simply don’t hold up in medium winds. Great concept and design, but not reliable in real-world outdoor conditions.

It was very windy in the Chicago-area over the Memorial Day weekend. I was frequently going out to unwrap my American flag which kept getting wrapped around the pole. To find a solution, I goggled the problem & discovered multiple solutions. The solution that made the most sense were these Homie magnets which, fortunately, were sold through Amazon (I love Amazon!).These magnets arrived on time, packaged in a very neat box containing a Styrofoam cutout tray for the magnets. The box also contained instructions for where to place the magnets on the flag. The magnets are red in color & are waterproof. I placed them on the flag as directed in the instructions. You have to look closely to see the magnets - they blend in well with the red stripes. My flag has not wrapped around the pole since I used the magnets - no matter how windy it is!Also, I just received an email from the vendor asking if everything was satisfactory with the order/product. This is great customer service! I would definitely order these magnets from this vendor again. Great product!
