I love the extra large cubes as they can cool down a glass of gin and tonic or vodka without diluting it too much. Lots of small cubes do that in no time at all. I've switched to using these almost all the time now, and you can even drop one into a pint of beer if you want some more or less instant chilling without too much water being added.When you take the tray out of the freezer, if you let it stand for just a minute you'll find the cubes will pop out much easier. The other thing that helps is to try not to overfill each compartment. Just leave about a cm clear at the top. Too much makes is much harder to get them out, and I managed to tear the rubber on my first try that way.

I can imagine that something like this is unavoidable however the ice cubes can be quite difficult to remove from the case so sometimes needs a knife to be stuck down the side just to get some air under them.

Excellent product, lovely extra large cubes and spheres. Having fun making festive ice cubes. These are large enough for one cube per drink too. Easy to fill and remove from flexible silicone moulds. The silicon is not flimsy as expected, makes transporting to the freezer effortless. Highly recommend
