Used these to pop into the legs of a dumb bell rack. Look good, fit nice, good price. Just hammer em in with a rubber mallet. They’re a snug fit, fit as expected and won’t pop out if you measured correctly.

At first I thought they were too big for my railings but the trick is to pre-bend and soften the walls inward (bowing each wall in several times as far as you can flex them in by hand) then immediately tap them in. They fit beautifully. No problem at all with any breakage or splitting.
