This door handle set shipped quickly, and easy-to-follow instructions were provided. I installed this on a glass patio door to replace a door handle that could only lock from the inside to allow for access from outside as well, and it only took me 5-10 minutes to complete the installation.The set comes with two keys, all necessary hardware, and feels sturdy once installed. I have not had any problems with in since purchasing it two months ago, and don't anticipate any issues. The white color also matched my door perfectly!I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants the flexibility to lock and unlock a sliding glass door from the inside or the outside.

It is very expensive but the question is how many of these exist and which one will fit your specific door? You pretty much do not have any choices unless you speak Chinese and communicate with the stores in China directly so you can get it at whole sale price which I assume its $15 to $18 maybe cheaper. The only problem I ran into is breaking what they call the " tail end" that's connected to the swivel lever and the cylinder lock, you need to break it off and sand it down evenly so it will fit perfectly into the lock, this is crucial if you want the lever and cylinders to act individually, if they touch each other you wont be able to lock the door with the key, they need to be at a certain distance but still be in the lock. Make sure to cut the tail ends correctly if not let's just say it is better for the tails to be longer than shorter if not your project will come to an end. The keys that come with it are different to some regular American house keys, I posted a picture of the difference, talk to your locksmith to find the matching key or order them, if they are hard to find then opt in to buy 4 or more that way you dont have to deal with it in the future. *** overall it works! It did not take long after figuring out a few things like screw length, holding the pieces together and have them lined up with the lock was challenging but doable, if you have someone to help you have them hold it for you after you you aligned it to the lock then test the lock with the newly rekeyed cylinder and key to see if it is turning the lock. Ordered new handles because the mortise lock no longer worked properly but could not get the old handle off without destroying it. This fit an American Craftsman by Andersen door well. We did not need to make any adjustments to the handle assembly or the door. The installation instructions were a bit like IKEA ones with, pretty much, just pictures but the videos were very helpful. Only issue we had was with the mortise lock which did not include screws...and the old ones were "lost." Ordered white to replace the original brass which was quite tarnished and tired looking, the quality seems comparable to the original and fit the "footprint" of the original perfectly.

It is a decent patio handle set. I like it because it does the job and now my basement can be accessed with a key. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the key only works only if the handle isn't tightened all the way which makes it wiggle a bit when opening and closing the door. If someone can tell me what I can do to be able to tighten it and be able to lock and unlock the door I would be willing to give it 5 stars.

Just installed- took me 3 hours but now that I know how it goes together the next one will take 15 minutes. Hardest part was cutting the two stems to exact length. Don’t want to cut too short since then you’re screwed so I cut each one a little at a time. If left too long, the lock is going to bind. Took me about 10xs but if patient, the result is great- both pieces have to meet up properly with the door handle tightened. You will see people saying the lock is too tight to turn but they just need to trim the stems back a little. Other complaints from people was that they could lock from outside but not unlock. They need to pull the handle with the lock back out, turn the stem 180 degrees and reinstall. Works perfectly- don’t know why the vendor doesn’t include better instructions and I would have saved myself over 2 hours

Unfortunately the sliding door handled did not fit and contacted Amazon in order to return the item. They graciously said that we did not have to return the item and refunded my money immediately. With customer service like that we will certainly be keeping our Amazon prime

I replaced a worn lock & key door handle with this particular set and was very pleased with tis product. It fit the sliding glass door perfectly and I did not have to make any modifications to the existing mortise or drilled holes. Installation took me about 10-15 minutes and the cost of the product was well below what I expected. Shipped quickly. The item contains well written instructions and are easy to follow. Highly recommend this set.

Works fine. Some notes:1. My door is 1 and 5/8" thick. The key lock tail was just slightly too long, causing the lock latch to get stuck when the screws were fully tightened. I had a locksmith cut the tail by a 1/2 notch and it works fine now.2. I attempted to insert the key into my kwikset smartkey (rekeyable) lock, but it would not insert.3. I took the key to 2 locksmiths who struggled to produce working copies. I then took the key to Home Depot, who made successful copies with key # 66. The number 66 was number auto detected by their big newish orange laser cutter machine, which I am told is superior to Home Depot's old gray-colored machine. They gray-colored one is the same type of machine my locksmiths used.
