Not what you expect from the title!
I was expecting a story about two girls sailing on the TITANIC. And to be fair, that is the story’s beginning. However, the story is about the two sisters who learn to love, trust and grow into amazing caring and people who cared for others.

Wonderful story!
I have always been fascinated with stories about the Titanic sinking and and how many of them survived and went on to live a very different life. Even though this book is “fiction”, it was a very good story and so well written.

Wonderful read!!!!
I loved the historical, fiction element to the story. I love the relationships and the good vs. Evil. Would love to see a continuation of this story and how the relationships grow. Marriage, children, careers and all good things in life. We need more good stories in this time.

Family relationships
Amazing story of two sisters who emigrate from Ireland to find a better life in America. Unfortunately, they travel on the Titanic. Delia survives and is rescued, but when she searches for her sister, Nora, there is no trace of her. Assuming she's dead, Delia seizes the opportunity and takes her place as governess of a young girl. The story is an in-depth look at family relationships, consequences of deception, and redemption.

Easy read, but almost too easy
I enjoyed the story, but it felt very unreal at times. There were too many coincidences and too many situations that were far too predictable.

Didn't quite live up to my expectations
This was a story I was looking forward to reading, as I have a great interest in the Titanic and especially the passengers and crew. It was very well written and had obviously been well researched.I was really enjoying the story and it was well on course for a five-star review. But it somehow lost me towards the end with all the to-ing and fro-ing, and I was sometimes hard pressed to remember who was where and which sister was telling each particular chapter. But, even so, an interesting read.

A good story of two sisters and how good fortune comes to them in the end.
Nora and Delia were born and lived in Donegal, in Ireland. Delia had a twin brother who died and her Ma blended Delia for that. As the story unfolds Delia doesn't' get much love from either her Ma or Nora and found her self drawn to the quiet man, her f father, who loved her. Both girls got the opportunity to sail on the fateful Titanic in steerage accommodation, but when the ship sank, were separated. Nora was to become a governess to a child whose father wanted an Irish lady for the job and so paid her boat passage to New York. The girls were separated when the ship went down and Delia, thinking her sister drowned took on her identity and went to be governess to the child Lily. There are many twists and turns in the story about how this action shaped their lives. A great story with a happy ending.

An interesting tale
The Titanic Sisters is a good read. The characters of the two sisters create constant swings in the plot. The information about the early search for oil builds an exciting story.
