You need to mix the white powder product with 20% hydrogen peroxide, which is not included and difficult to find. This strength of hydrogen peroxide burns and irritates skin, yours and your dog's. I diluted 35%, which I found on-line. The product itself is a fine white powder which is hard to totally wash out. My dog left white prints all over the house even after two thorough rinses. These negative things would not be so bad if the product worked well, but it doesn't. Other non-irritating and less messy whitening shampoos, such as Perfect Coat White Pearl Shampoo, seem to whiten as well or better and are less expensive.
