KATSU FIT-BAT 21V Cordless Brushless Motor SDS Rotary Hammer Drill 26mm Without Batteries (Body Only)

This Katsu SDS drill ordered as I wanted a mediun weight drill to fit in between my concrete SDS breaker at 4.6KG and my lighter Makita SDS at 1.6KG.At 2.85Kg this Katsu fitted nicely into my line up of SDS tools, as having bought a Katsu branded tool before I knew of the supplier and had not experienced any problems.To my surprise this drill has good drilling capacity without speed, at just 1400rpm the impact rate is 3800ipm, this sufficient for the SDS drill bits to give good performance without overheating, the trigger also controls the variable speed of the drill to give even better performance with quad tipped drill bits.The drill due to the low speed has good torque and uses Makita compatible batteries which was also a bonus as already owned, my 5Ah battery giving a full days use fitted to this Katsu, this drill ideal for work around the house including drilling without hammer and chiselling without rotation but to heavy for ladder work which is left to my 1.6Kg drill, so far I cannot fault this drill it has achieved all I have used it for.

This drill lasted just over a week before it stopped working. Don't waste your money on these there not fit for the job

Would have been a great drill but the the bit was wandering all over the place. This means that it always drills too big, basically making it useless. Ended up paying extra for a Makita.
