Marshall Excelsior ME109 Tank Valve Cap

I've been looking for a replacement cap for the propane tank on our Class B RV and finally found this one. The cap seems to be made of a quality plastic. The fit is perfect, and it tightens down nicely so it should not vibrate off. I searched for this replacement cap for several weeks at local RV shops but could not find one. I searched Amazon and found a cap, but it was not the correct size. The RV is parked now for Winter but come spring I'll be on the road. If it comes lose or falls off, I'll write a new review.

I have a 2023 Thor Sequence and the cap was missing. The cap fits perfectly to cover the gas valve for refilling

I like the cheap price, but I would have liked it to come with the tether to hold it on.

These caps tend to break. Really hard to find

This fit my motorhome perfectly, but there is no retention strap to keep from losing it during refill or if it vibrates loose. (There is a place in the center to attach a strap if you can make your own.)

The one that was on the tank cracked (orange cap sitting on tank to left) letting dirt and moisture in the fill connector. This one (bright yellow in the picture) fit perfectly and did not have to buy two or more for one cap that was needed. I've had the tank since the late '80's so expect whoever replaces it next time won't be me.

Worked great to replace an older, brittle plastic cap on one of my tanks. No complaints.
