great cheese slicer iv'e had a few of these and think they,re great.

On flimsy side but does the job.Trying to slice from a medium size block of cheese, had to keep one hand on cheese to stabilise. Making slicing action more difficult to apply pressure one handed.Much easier to use a knife.

1st one broke after decade and use so much gas to replace asap… let’s hope this lasts just as long

Easy to use. I'd recommend slicing on the smaller surface of a block of cheese as that puts less pressure on the slicer rather than trying to cut a slice the full width of the wire cutter. Also, it's a good idea to hold the slicer at both ends of the wire cutter when slicing, again to reduce pressure on the slicer. They don't last forever but my previous ones have given good service.

Bit fiddly to use as the wire isn't tight enough and wobbles around a bit if you don't hold it firmly in place. But does the job!
