I've been a big fan of Nakd bars for many years. This has to be the best flavour yet. When the apple pie version was released I had expected it to taste the way the apple danish ones taste and was disapointed that they didn't taste like that at all. Instead of being sweet, appley and oaty, they were bland and too spicy. I'm so glad they've revamped the recipe because now they are addicitvely amazing! A delicious treat that really convinces you you are eating something sugary! Great with custard or a cup of tea. I was going to purchase these regularly, eating at least 2-3 of them a day. However the third box I purchased was off. They tasted like vomit! Unfortunately this is something I have experienced periodically with nakd and trek bars. Now and then you get a box, or several boxes that taste like vomit. Clearly something has gone wrong where it's ended up being exposed to heat or something and it has turned the ingredients rancid. I used to be addicted to the peanut power protein chunk bars by trek, as well as the berry blast and cocoa flavours. I used to buy them in bulk direct form theit site for a long time. Then 6 boxes turned up that all tasted like vomit and it put me off. It's been several years and I haven't purchased them since. It's really hard to take the risk. I desperately want to buy more of these apple bars, but having had an off box I'm scared to buy any more. Luckily Amazon accepted the return and refunded me, but it's a hassle, especially as the local post office is closed and I am housebound with a chronic illness and without transport, making it difficult (and dangerous in this time of coronavirus) to have to take things to post offices to get a refund. But on the other hand, I don't want to have my money wasted by not going through the refund process or pay for something that is off! I don't know if this is a quality control issue at the Nakd/Trek factory that needs to be rectified, or whether it is something that happens in storage or transport to distribution warehouses like Amazon's. Either way, it's a problem that's been going on for years that needs to be rectified. If you are trying Nakd/Trek for the first time and get a bad batch, rest assured that they are not supposed to taste like vomit! Most of the time they are actually delicious, but it's a gamble as to what you are going to get! I can see from the reviews that I am not the only person to have experienced this, so I hope writing this issue will lead to the issue being looked into and hopefully resolved. Nakd have been sneaking strange flavourings into their bars recently, and I suspect this is another casualty. I got an overpowering taste of "apple flavouring", rather than apples, and instead of the warmth of cinnamon there's an aftertaste of something indefinable and vaguely minty.Not as good as my favourite Nakd bars, but not as bad as the very artificial-tasting blueberry one.

I wanted a healthy alternative to sugar snacks and this was perfect. I often had one for breakfast when in a rush. The flavour is very nice if you like banana with a slight cinnamon twist. In bulk, this box is cheaper than in the shops. I really like the Nakd range of snack bars and this is one of my favourite.

Like all subscribe and save items they have to be bought at the right time and the price checked before they are dispatched as I have been stung a few times buying something at what I thought was one price and them arriving at another price. That being said they are really nice. Great value the amount in the pack and they have a nice chewy apple taste (as they should) They are a little on the sweet side but in a nice way. I know it says apple danish but its really much more of an apple fruit bar to be honest but still nice all the same.

I probably eat one of these bars every single day. The ingredients are clean and the company is transparent. I definitely try to stay away from refined carbohydrates and processed foods, and this fits the bill! I wouldn't be leaving this review if this product didn't taste so great. It satisfies my hunger on days that dinner/lunch runs late, and doesn't make my stomach grumble in hunger right after, so that's also fantastic.

The perfect alternative to unhealthier treats!Love that these are only made with naturalsugars and flavours. They are more filling than you’d expect too, definitely worth keeping a couple in your car / bag etc for whenever you need an energy boost or just a treat!

I've been relentlessly trying to find a replacement for the raw fruit bars Aldi used to stock with contained only banana and apple, nothing else. They were delicious and nothing else on the market compares. These berry bars aren't bad, and the price I paid was reasonable. They are quite small and I didn't love the flavour, but as a relatively healthy mid-morning snack they've been okay.
