Black Charging Station with Blue Light Bar for PS5 Midnight Black Controllers, PlayStation 5 Black Controller Charger

I purchased this for a xmas gift along with the Spider-Man 2 PS5 Bundle, I wanted to have a matching color charging station along with controllers. This charging station, for the Dualsense controllers, is just like the OEM Sony brand one; expect it is black and has some added LED lighting built in. My only gripe is that the LED lighting stays on all the time, even when the controllers are finished charging; but it's not a big deal breaker at all. Overall and VERY good alternative for the Dualsense charging stations and very clean looking.

This is an awesome black charging station if you are going for the all black theme for your PS5. Sleek, well designed and easy to use; the controllers line up easily on the station. The middle strip has shiny black accents while the side fenders are matte black.According to the manufacturer, it has intelligent protection to avoid overheating and overcharging.I really like the product but there are a few minor details that I didn’t care for. The HONCAM logo is etched on the top back of the station which takes away from the overall look but can be easily unseen with a controller in place. Also, the lighting choreography is a little weird; the blue light strips on both sides are a nice cool blue and not too bright, but while charging, the lights on the controller are flashing orange and then there is an additional small light strip just in front of the controller that stays red as well. I have posted a picture.

I just received this today and am really pleased with the style and design, very sleek. Over all I'm pleased with this charger. I haven't gotten to use it much yet, but I did want to share a piece of information that I had not considered when I purchased it. The fit of the controller in the charging station is like a glove, which would ordinarily would be of no concern to me. However, thanks to Sony's choice of white for the PS5, I purchased a silicone cover for my controller to hide this, neglecting to considering how this might effect how it docked with the charger. How does it effect docking you ask? Well it doesn't allow it to charge with out the removal of the cover, (which isn't the manufacturer's fault) simply mine for failing to consider that. This makes using it for me a bit of a pain (with having to remove the cover each time), but with normal controllers there should be no issue. I just wanted to share this in case this might be helpful for some one else.

As noted , works great and as intended. Setup is simple. Using you own USB cord; adjust for location .No problem whatsoever.This cradle is good for those that are looking to an all black set up (after changing Ps5 Shell and Controller to black). And really , use the USB as the power cord for the charger, It'll turn off AND (if it really bothers you that much) just pull out the plug on the back of the cradle. It takes 2 seconds .And remember to use the port that's on the BACK of the Ps5 so you don't have to look at at USB plug coming out of the front of your Console while playing your Ps5). Plus it just looks better in general . But I guess that all depends on whether or not your Ps5 is vertical or horizontal.

The media could not be loaded. Somebody mentioned a logo on the top. They got rid of it it seems. Deserves a 5 star for the no bs being essentially a dupe of the official stand but black. HIGHLY recommended to complete your black setup
