Colorful World - Regenbogen.: Ausmalen & entspannen

Ursula Schwab's illustrations are just wonderful and here it is another gorgeous book from her. If you like detailed pictures then this book is for you. The book is a square shaped, 22 x 22 cm book and it has hard board back what makes it easy to colour on in case you don't have a hard surface to put your book on.The pages are glued on the side for easy removal and they are single sided so basically any type of medium can be used on them.The paper is white, thick, heavy weight, nicely textured paper what takes coloured pencils really well. I have tried a lot of different types of medium (pencils, markers, gel pens, watercolour pencils and paints, ink, acrylic paint) in the book and paper was taking them all well, but obviously it is not watercolour paper so you do have to watch how much water you are using. Also just as a basic rule, use a blotter sheet behind the page you are working on if you are using alcohol markers to protect the next page.The book has a rainbow theme what features on every page in different forms and your will see all sorts of rainbows throughout the book. The artwork is beautifully drawn with black lines to make it easy to see for someone with vision impairment. The illustrations do not reach to the edges of the pages, some has a border - some are circular and this makes every picture a nice compact size, not too overwhelmingly big.I would highly recommend this book to every colourist who loves Ursula Schwab's artwork.
