I love how smooth this paper is! I've been using dotted journals for quite some time now, and I have to say this special edition Leuchtturm 1917 is worth the money. I have a fountain pen that has a heckuva fast ink flow, and the ink has not bled through the pages.This notebook is a particularly awesome version of an already awesome kind of notebook. Get it while supplies last, I say.

The thickness of the pages is perfect, I love there is zero bleed and the smoothness is a dream for jotting down ideas.

I used to love Moleskines but their paper doesn’t handle fountain pens very well. I tried the Midori MD notebook and loved it except I felt it wasn’t sturdy enough. I was always worried about getting the cover dirty or bending the corners. It was also hard to write on sometimes because of the softer cover. I also didn’t like that it didn’t have an elastic band to close it tightly shut. This Leuchtturm solves all those problems. I love the thickness of it. Feels substantial in your hands. It will be my new go-to notebook from now on.

This paper is incredible to write on with a fountain pen. Absolutely beautiful. There are other note books that offer totally smooth writing, but I like this one for drawing. It really soaks up the ink uniformly and well. You can’t go wrong with it. For writing, I prefer Clairfontain, for drawing, this is my jam.

I've always liked the brand so I thought I'd give this one a try, mainly for the weight of paper as I use Sharpie pens, a lot, and wanted to see if the pens bleed through - they do not. Also love the shade of yellow. It's been perfect for a Bullet Journal.

This is a very clearly well made journal. I was a bit hesitant on the price at first seeing as you can get standard notebooks for under 5 dollars, but this one is well worth the price.The pages are thick, and work well with fountain pens. There is no bleed through, and I don’t have any trouble writing on both sides of a page since there’s very little shadowing.Each page is numbered, and the dot grid is present, but not too dark so as to distract from the writing.There are better papers for sheen with fountain pen ink (Tomoe River) but overall this is fantastic, and I’d definitely buy it again.

I use this as a journal. Each one lasts approx 2 years depending on how much I write. It’s my favorite because it has the pages lined and there are pockets to hold papers on the inside of each cover

I really like the blank pages and pocket in the back cover, convenient for travel journaling and durable. Only issue I have is using EF/0.2 fountain pen nib on the poros paper. Fountain Pen picks up the fibers, causing bleeding. Lamy Safari pens with medium nibs tend to smear, ink doesn’t absorb. I’ve tried MANY journals, and for writing, this is still one of the best.

Tout ce qu'on connait de Leuchtturm1917, mais avec un papier plus épais. Je l'utilise comme bullet journal et ça fonctionne à merveille. Fonctionne avec le stylos à plume, aucun bavage. Même les feutres ne traversent pas. Il y a souvent des spéciaux selon la couleur.

The paper has a nice weight and there is only very faint bleed through when writing with gel pens. I use this notebook for work and like the bookmarks to easy find my page. I also like the strap that holds the notebook closed. The only thing that's missing in terms of product design would be a pen holder.

This is a beautiful, high-quality journal. The paper has a nice feel and weight. Perfect for sketching or note taking. You can keep this journal for a long time. It is worth paying extra for the quality.

I always by Leuchtturm1917 for journalling. They are great and paper is very quality
