These tapes are fresh and exactly what I needed for my stereo system. Record and playback well as long as you use the correct bias and settings. Otherwise just use them like you would any cassette tape and you’ll be fine.

Perfect, just like the old days.The only tapes available at retail stores ( including electronics stores ) in this area are normal bias. The price is reasonable and I will be ordering more very soon.

These are getting hard to find and the price is right up there, but they still sound good by cassette standards. Not as good as metal, but in this day and age, you have to ask yourself what niche is this in your life. Still fun to make mix tapes from various sources if you have CDs and LPs and even MP3 streaming, running all that through a receiver. So good quality cassettes like this let you make up greatest-hits tapes for working at home or if your car still has a player. Great product, still...but do wish the pricepoint was not so steep.

Took a risk for the apparent age of product as blank cassette tapes are disappearing rapidly. Poor recording range (Above -0db) with a good amount of distortion without NR Dolby B, C, or HX Pro. Some tapes dragged, & some did not. But what can you expect as who knows what climate they were stored in for over 20+ years.

I haven’t bought blank cassettes for decades. I’ve found the need to duplicate some of my most treasured cassettes and decided to stick with mt old standby, the TDK SA-C90. They’re still top notch, just a LOT more expensive than they were in the 90s!

Three of the tapes were fine but one the sound quality was poor.
