Bussmann(BP/FLF-60-RP) 60 Amp Female Termination Fusible Link

I was sad to find this didn't fit my car correctly even though it was approved for my car make, model, and year through the selling page. The body is not the right size or shape. The contacts will fit in a little bit, but they are more narrow than the original so it won't plug in all the way. Since the height is a lot higher than the original the fuse box cover might not close all the way although I haven't tried that since I found it was the wrong fuse. The contact spacing is similar though so it plugs in a little and so the circuit works, so I didn't return it I am keeping it for a backup just in case, it would most likely work to get me home if the original blew out. I also might be able to cut it apart and insert the guts with newer added contacts into the body of the original fuse thus creating a fuse with the correct fit. A little strange and a little bit of a pain, but I have worked in the electronic field for years so no big deal for me :-)I couldn't find the true correct fit fuse on Amazon but they may have one added in the future. Not easy to find anywhere else.

Perfect replacement for 35 year old wire fusible links on 1st gen Mazda Rx7. They look clean, modern, and no guesswork if I ever need to replace any of them.

It is doing the job that I need it to do.I have electricity again being supplied to the power outlet plugin.

Bought as spare.
