This works great. The shoulder support is a plus. If you are lifting packages for instance, definitely a must to have. Don’t wait until your back is blown out before you get one. Be pro active.

More support and half the price of the home depot version. Way more support to clamp it down when injured or making a heavy lift and pro-actively supporting your back. Have one in my work out bag and one in the back pocket of my pickup's driver's seat. Starts of stiff and then softens up with use. You'll not be disappointed with the support, but it does "lose" the plastic inserts in the first ten or so times of wearing it, but stays supportive, and maybe even more comfortable when said inserts tear loose.

Size down for skinny men

I prefer no shoulder straps and easily removed them. The elastic waistband is wide and firm, and the front closes and opens easily with a single wide velcro patch. Seems quality made and has lasted 1+ month of yardwork without showing any wear. Good value, even if you don't use the shoulder straps.

The plastic bones came out on the first day I wore it. Stitching may have been defective. The style of back brace is perfect, just needs to be of better quality.
