Awesome toy - except, it's HEAVY
I love how this toy is made. It's so thoughtfully engineered. When the clear plastic cover came off I thought my son broke it, but it's made to give if pulled on to hard and goes back on easy. Solid, durable construction. Problem is, this great construction makes it heavy, my 37lb 3yr old doesn't have the strength to pull down the handle, and even if he did, he can't lift it. But, he has fun watching rockets eye light up, rolling it on the floor, putting the characters in an out.

Go Rocket!
We bought our daughter a room full of toys for Christmas. After opening all her gifts she would have been happy with just this one, she loves it! Only down fall for mom and dad is the speaker is LOUD! Other than that it is really cool. Its a litle two heavy for a two year old to use the handle that retracts from the bottom but she just carries it with two hands and has a blast! If your kids love Little Einsteins dont hesitate to buy this, if they dont watch Little Einsteins they should be!

SCOUTS HONOR LIES
Don’t buy from Scouts Honor. I purchased this Rocket with the understanding that it was in working order in terms of playing music. I received it, put brand new batteries in and abosutlutly nothing happened. It was advertised as working. Complete lie and shameful that they blatantly ripped me off!

LE PP Rocket
We didn't know the rocket existed until my Father in Law saw something similar while shopping less than a week before Christmas. None were to be found in the stores, and since our toddler is in love with the Little Einsteins and Rocket, we ordered from a vendor on Amazon. It came promptly several days before Christmas. We could tell right away in the packaging it would be a hit. We left it under the tree unwrapped "from Santa" at Grandma and Grandpa's. We never got to anymore gifts until after dinner, and then only about half - we just couldn't keep our son interested in Christmas anymore once he had the Rocket and "his guys." Again, a total hit. Highly recommend it. He plays with it everyday, sometime for hours.

Truth about the toy
Ok.. I was a little scared about buying this toy for my Daughter based on the reviews here. I took the chance and purchased it anyway and here is the truth about it. 1. Yes the speaker volume is way to high and there is not a volume control, however this is due to the fact that when rocket is slowly rolled the volume lowers and when he's rolled fast the sound is louder. and if your child plays with it outside the high volume is good. 2. I was dreading putting the little figures in their seats. A lot of people complained of the difficulty of this, I found this to be no problem at all if you match the figures to their seats, and yes the seats do match the seat placement of each chr in the opening of the show Leo in a Euro driving seat with Jun sitting to his left, Quincy behind her and Annie behind Leo. As a matter of fact my 2year + 8 month old Daughter has no problem at all taking the figure in and out. ( note this is a 3 years + toy). 3. Is it heavy? Yes and no, my little girl has no problem carrying it around, her 10 month old brother can even pick it up, However she has some difficulty when using the fold down handle. This issue is only due to wrist strength. My little girls wrist is just not strong enough to hold it in 1 hand for long periods of time. But again she is under the age requirement when she is over 3 years old I'm sure this issue will change. 4. If your buying for a child under 3- The only issue you run into is weight. But most children under 3 prefer rolling things anyway and Rocket rolls on the floor very well( stable) I have no worries about any choking hazards with this toy (as far as little parts that get lodged in throat). 5. The one thing I did remove from the toy was the little green fold out tv screen. its really worthless. End note- I am very happy with this product and would say its a great buy if your children love Little Einstein's, -sounds may get on your nerves after a while but remember there is a off switch and batteries are removable. It is built tough and the canopy of rocket can pop off and on easy. all in all I would buy it again.

Go, Go Rocket!
I was very impressed with this toy. It's a good size and the music, sounds, and voices are just as they sound on the video. Rocket is rather heavy yet durable as my 2 year old has dropped him many times and remains fully intact. I would recommend this toy for any Little Einteins lover.

2 under 4
I bought the Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket for my 4-year-old son, but both he and his 2-year old sister LOVE it. They fly it, "walk" characters in and out of it, pretend they are on "missions" from the show or ones they make up during the day, etc. My son had no trouble figuring out how each part of the toy functions, and could easily open and close the hatch himself right away; his 2-year old sister requires assistance. Each of the characters fits into a seat inside the rocket; when the figures click into place, the character's voice is heard saying one of his / her well-known phrases. The hatch will come off, but easily clicks back into place - again, my son figured this out himself very early on and it doesn't impact his enjoyment of the toy. There is also a fold out "screen" from inside the toy - personally, I think they could skip this in any revisions of the toy - the monitor part comes off easily and frequently, and my kids all but ignore this feature. The kids have flown it, landed it, and knocked it from "dangerous ledges" (sofa, table...) and we've experienced no breakage from this treatment. I would definitely recommend this toy for preschool Little Einsteins fans out there!!
