Ten Minutes to Bed: Little Dragon

This is part of the “Ten minutes to bed” collection! My daughter love all of them! It’s long enough for a bedtime story!

My grand-daughter loved the book. She loves dragons right now and it is a great bedtime book.

A story about little dragon Flicker and what he does during his ten minute countdown to bedtime. He does a lot in a very short time.Brightly colored pictures and a gently rhyming story. My one complaint is that some of the text is black on a dark background which makes it unfortunately quite hard to read.

This book is so cute. Short and colorful enough for babies to pay attention to the whole thing

We like it - only issue really is that the egg is not “purple and black” as described in the book, which is pretty confusing to young ones who are learning colors/ have recently learned them. Took off one star for that given that it’s probably the target audience.

We love this series and were hoping after the last one that Flicker would get his own story. If I'm honest, it's not my favourite in the series to read aloud (yet). That honour still goes to little unicorn and little mermaid, but just like all the titles in the series it's a lovely, calming bedtime read.

I adore the whole line of these books. Beautiful illustrations, great rhyming, and impacts kids imaginations. My 3yo daughter loves them.I like how this links with the Little Unicorn… very clever! I’ve waited over a year to purchase this book and it was worth the wait. Will continue to buy any new books!

Bought this book for my grandson, love the fact that it aims to get him to bed in ten minutes time, without to much fuss, the pictures are so beautifully drawn, and coloured lovely, will keep him focused on every page with all the lovely colours and cute dragons.

We have all the stories from the series and this is another winner with my daughter. They are the only books she asks for. We love the land on nod and finding all the characters in the day the checking they have gone to bed after the story. Really hope there are more characters on the way!

The book flows beautifully. It is not as exciting or thought provoking some of the other stories in the series although the link with the Unicorn book is a lovely touch.
