A good book to kickstart 2023 :)
I picked this book up after '22's FIFA World Cup. I recalled how hard I rooted for Croatia to win back in 2018, and realized I wanted to learn a little bit more about Luka and his journey into and in football. What struck me when reading the book is that he didn't shy away from the upsets and victories he felt as progressed in his career and his personal life. You can tell, by how he details his emotions, he remembers every detail of the day such an event happen to the T.Not only that, he is an incredibly humble person. Most of the quotes I had highlighted from him (to me), serve as reminders to bear in mind, entering 2023. Call it coincidence or destiny, I'm glad I started my 2023's reading journey with his autobiog.

A must-have autobiography for any soccer super fan
As a lifelong soccer player, instructor & coach I am a huge admirer and fan of Luka Modric. His industry on the field (at age 35!) and his breathtaking skills (those wonderful passes sliced off of the outside of his right foot) are a joy to behold. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book hoping that it would be an intimate portrait of that ageless and indispensable superstar in Real Madrid's #10 shirt. What a football life he has led! He takes the reader along effortlessly through his younger days with Dinamo Zagreb, on to Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid & the Croatian national team. He writes simply (translated?) and without artifice and he wears his heart on his sleeve when discussing his personal life off the field. The reader can't help but come away with a positive feeling about such a humble and accomplished player of the world's most popular game. The many awards that Luka has won during his long career are richly deserved.

I couldn’t put this book down and had goosebumps reading it at several different points. Luka does an excellent job of putting the reader in his eyes for all the important moments of his career, and its enthralling for anybody that loves European futbol.

Great Service
This is one of the first books I have ever ordered and just wanted to thank RAREWAVES-IMPORTS for their fantastic service and price. This book was not available in my own country so I had to order it and it arrived in perfect condition even though I ordered the paper back edition and not the hard cover. It also arrived within the estimated/expected dates so I do really appreciate that as delays are very common due to the pandemic. Highly recommended !

I like the paper and the fonts. Am even surprised it's a hardbound because price was cheap.The story of Luka is very engaging, funny and will touched your heart because of the struggles he went through before becoming THE BEST MIDFIELDER of our generation. Hala Madrid!!!!!

J'ai absolument adoré lire ce livre, il se dévore tout seul. Luka nous décrit tous les moments symboliques de sa vie, depuis sa plus jeune enfance, qui l'ont façonné et on fait de lui le grand joueur du Real Madrid qu'il est aujourd'hui. J'ai trouvé cette autobiographie intéressante, émouvante et puis surtout très inspirante. Enfin, et ca a aussi son importance, la couverture est vraiment très jolie.
