Fits well onto my bottles. Leak proof but that will depend on the condition of your bottle. If it was already leaking then you CAN hope the new cap wont cause leaking. It stopped leakage of some already leaking but didn't stop leakage of some

Feedback on Pure Source metal cap
Within one year the metal cap has started rusting.The manufacturer should give attention to these items as these caps are used on bottles which stores water/ milk; hence care has to be given for a quality product.
