Friends, earlier I have been using Gillette Mach 3 but I know Gillette offers more with its Fusion series. So, I bought the Gillette Fusion Pro Glide with Flexball Gift Pack. The whole packing of the box screams quality. These are the most advanced Gillette manual razors that you can buy in India. On the box, it mentions that the razor handle is made in Poland while the cartridges are made in Germany. Inside the box, we get 1 Gillette Fusion Pro Glide razor handle and 5 cartridges. The design of the razor is simply beautiful. It comes in stylish black colour with a rubberized grip. There are 5 blades in the front and there is a 6th Precision Trim blade at the back for nose and sideburns.The razor has this flexball which allows it to move smoothly along the curves of the face. There is also a plastic case for the razor to protect it. Gillette Flexball allows the razor handle to move, adjust and rotate according to a man's face. The flexball technology is just phenomenal and the razor blades are sharp and precise. The Gillette Flexball ProGlide Gift Pack is selling for ₹999 on offer but its original price is ₹1498. Gillette is right, this is the best a man can get.

Earlier I have used Mach 3 Turbo and wanted to buy this for quite some time but doubtful as it is a gift pack and not sure whether the quality matches with the regular products or not but went ahead and purchase this during one of the sale events and to my surprise the products are of very good quality and original Gillette. When comes to shaving this is very smooth compared to Mach 3 and with flexball it is very convenient to use it around chin area. Used it for around a month and then quite happy with it.

I find Gillette brand to be more dependable than others since I have been using it (Twin Blade, Mach 3) for past many years with almost no cuts (if used carefully). With my great Mach 3 experience I was more inclined to buy this new product from Gillette which claims 20% fewer missed hairs and the ability to cut hairs 23 microns shorter, and also 23% increased skin contact with the new technology. Also I was bored using the same Mach 3 handle for many years.I usually shave 5 days a week with haste and Mach 3 fit my bill. For me a refill pack of 4 cartridges would last a year without any skin conditions and I expect same from Gillette Flexball Refills.I tried the new product with all possible angles on my pretty face carefully (till I get accustomed to it) and the result was much prettier. Indeed few strokes were required compared to Mach 3 to get the desired result.The main concern which remains in my Indian heart is about the longevity of the product. I don't mind spending a little more (which sounds expensive) if the product keeps its promise. Initially even Mach 3 with Refills seemed Expensive to me but it proved its worth. And now after making this expensive purchase I say to thyself, I am worth it and I deserve it.

I have been a Gillette user for the past 12-13 years.I slowly but steadily upgraded and this is my latest upgrade from Mach 3 turbo. The extra single Trimming blade is a nice addition. And it shaves like butter. If you are a regular shaver and maintain your blades properly these blades can easily last for 6 months and upto 1 year if you know the reverse wipe technique to keep the blades sharper. :)

Gillette launched fusion with claim of better shaving on edges due to flex ball technology. But belive me, there is no match of Mach3, in terms of close and comfortable shaving. Its thick base after blade itself stuck in problematic corners like nearby nose, or in deep chinsThough fusion have 5 blades, but it itches/scratch your skin a lot, even doing shave in hot water. Also it do not work on thick/tough beard. Mach3 works there.Overall, if you want to purchase just to show status, then it is ok. Otherwise it has no worth.

For the price if 870/- get the flexball proglide handle and 5 catridges. I am a user if gilette mach 3 for the past 15 years. I had sensitive skin and had lots if razor burns, shaving was a nightmare for me. Gillette mach 3 solved the problem, worked very well with gillette foam! I have thin beard hence each mach 3 catridge used to last for a year! Recently i thought i ll try something new, bought lets shave pro 6 which dint satisfy me like mach 3, the 6 blade system works but its more a gimmick. Proglide with 5 blades works far better and a more close shave! I ended up even getting small bleeding spots. Expect the whole set to last atleast 6 years learning my experience with mach 3. Truly gillette stands best to its name. The best a man can get

Reviewing it after using it for the past 2 months. I bought this with great expectations and gillette did not let me down. I am using philips aquatouch shaver and gillette mach 3. But this is one is ultimate. For those who are feeling price on higher side, i can vouch that this is really worth the price and you will not regret it for sure.
