Not as well made as stated
Bought these for a gift ....some one who likes cooking and cars....what a perfect combo with these Peugeot grindersSadly the claims of excellence did not produce a great product.To continue grinding pepper meant constantly re-adjusting the holding screw at the top as with every grind it became loose.The salt also fell out of the grinder ...large crystals purchased but as soon as they had slightly been grinded the remaining chuck fell out onto the foodEnded up returning for a refund and looking for alternatives.

Love these salt and pepper mills
Huge fan of these. As a lifelong fan of Peugeot cars I was long overdue an upgrade to their salt and pepper mills.They feel well made, they grind beautifully (and very quickly). I love the colours too, and the classic style feels like it would fit in most kitchens.

Wouldn’t buy again
Always wanted this brand as a friend has had his for 20 years and they grind perfectly and are sturdy and strong. They don’t do that style anymore so opted for next best looking ones. What a disappointment, they don’t grind at all well considering the amount they cost. I use good quality peppercorns and salt. Sad I’m disappointed and wouldn’t buy this brand again

Manufacturing fault
Arrived today. The pepper mill is in perfect condition, but the salt mill has a manufacturing fault that affects both appearance and function - the hole drilled through the top piece to connect the vertical spoke to the nob on top is wonky, which pushes everything off centre. It is so obvious that I am surprised it was cleared as suitable for sale. I would like to replace just the salt mill, but there is no means of doing so on Amazon. The only option I have is to return both and get a refund.
