Very bright once you have them fitted properly. These are infact smaller than the OEM bulbs for the overhead light in the back of the cab in my Ram 1500. They are very loose, flip around, not that bright, and turn off on their own due to being to small. However, I took the advise of others and pinched the bulb holders and now it is a perfect fit, bulb stays lit and doesn't flip around, and the bulb is much brighter. Have only had them installed for a day so will update longtivity later on.

ORDERED THEM FOR DODGE RAM 2009.. FIT PERFECTLY. BUT AFTER 1 MIN START TO FLICKER AND SHOUT DOWN. I GUESS I NEED A RESISTOR( HIDDEN UNDER THE CAB!!! AND I SHOULD TAKE OUT THE WHOLE HOUSING ??? FORGET ABOUT UT. I WILL INSTALL THE IN ANOTHER CAR..

Was to replace the 578 dome on a Ford Escape.Obviously not the same dimensions! Debated grabbing the calipers but whats the point...even bending the spring tabs results in a loose bulb with the potential of a short thru the bulbs heat sink.So many good reviews but pics don't lie.... eeets craaaap

These are very bright and greatly increase the brightness in our vehicles. The amount you get for the price is much better than most others on the market, making this a great deal. I will be getting more for other places such as camper and other vehicles.
