The media could not be loaded.  I was trying to use this microscope to teach my 8yr old son about cellular structure but found it quite impossible to accurately adjust the stage to focus in on certain parts of the slides. As you can see in the video, the stage adjustment tips back and forth instead of lifting and lowering evenly. Altogether it is just a very cheaply made microscope that does not function correctly. I recommend purchasing a different brand especially if you want to teach your child proper microscope functions and handling.

This product came dirty and scratched. Not very happy. I’m homeschooling and need it for experiments so I probably won’t be returning. I haven’t decided yet. But definitely disappointed when I got it.

This thing is almost impossible to use Due to it being made of plastic and not sturdy enough to even run the focus up-and-down reliably

It’s pretty bad. Invest in something better. Unfortunately I waited too long to try it and now my return window has closed.

Does not work even like a cheap micrscope. It is a toy, nothing more, doesn't magnify anything.Very cheap plastic. If had been better made quality type plastice would have given another star. DON'T BUY!

I ordered this mid-July 2021 for my 6 year old grand daughter for Christmas. She was so excited to get a microscope to view her big collection:) We we’re not able to actually try it out until early January and she showed it for “Show & Share” to her virtual first grade class. I ordered Christmas presents very early in 2021 because of the predictions of items going to be hard to get and prices increasing. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong trying to focus this microscope when we tried it out. I even watched You Tube videos on this microscope. But after reading the new reviews here, I realize it’s not me - it is so sad that so many customers have been taken on this microscope for children! I am very disappointed with it.

My 10 yr old loves this! He is new to microscopes but thinks it is the coolest thing to see how everything looks! Try river water if you get one! It's pretty great! It took a bit to get it adjusted but once you figure it out it's a lot of fun!
