HARLEY-DAVIDSON FOOTWEAR Men's Shift Boot

I was looking for a set of riding boots that had both the classic 'engineer' boot style I've always loved and had the gear-shift protection on the toe. While these aren't the flat-toe style I have always worn, these come close enough for me. But the comfort is what really sold me. I had gotten a pair of riding boots from a different company that were closer to my style and supposedly in my size, but one quick run of errands showed me the error of that claim. I had hoped they'd break in over time, but instead they left me with huge blisters on my heals that still haven't fully healed, almost two weeks later. By the time I realized that, however, it was too late to send them back. So I went looking for something better and ran across these HD boots. I'm 54 and know my usual size of footwear. But boot sizes seem to have changed in the last 10 years or so. I normally wear a size 8.5-9 wide in regular shoes/boots, but this time around I decided to go big or go home. I bought these boots in a size 10 in order to be sure I'd have enough room so that I wouldn't hurt myself again. Man, am I ever glad I did! They're perfect! Lots of room in the toe for my fat feet to spread out in and a very comfy, cushioned sole that I was totally not expecting. I'm not a Harley rider - I own and ride a metric cruiser - so I was reticent at first to buy these because I didn't want to look/feel like a poseur or a wannabe. But, I have to say, these are some very sturdy, comfy riding boots! Who really cares who makes them? No regrets! I would suggest going a full size higher than what you're normally used to, especially if they still offer them with the 7-day try on arrangement. That way you can always send them back for a half or full size smaller, if need be. But, more likely, they'll be perfect.

They look better in person. The fitment is perfect. I listened to the other reviews that said it runs small so I ordered a half size too big and guess what. It came in a half size too big. Returned them, ordered my normal size and they foot perfect. There was just enough room to fit a thinker insole in it. They are the quality I've come to expect from harley. Just needed a dab of zipper grease. Love them.

Fit a little snug first couple days but after a little break in they fit perfectly great looking and well made

They are comfortable easy to put on.

Received the boots today. Fit good just concerned about the zipper on both boots. Zippers are hard to go up and down hope they get easier with use. Other than that great boots.

For a start I do love the Shift gear appearance and design. Length wise at a 9 1/2 US they're great, allow just the bit of leeway between ends of my toes and the boot. HOWEVER, my only complaint is that getting 9 1/2 M US, they are a bit wide. When first putting them on front of my foot fit just right but my middle and heel had a good amount of room to rattle around, and when I took a step my heel came up in the boot and that was with the buckle adjustment at max.BUT after speaking with other owners I went and got some Memory foam gel inserts, put them in with the original insoles on top and now they fit damn near perfect. Unfortunately I became informed after the fact that this design and couple others aren't quite meant for people with skinny feet. All in all though after adjusting the fit I love the boots. Can't wait to put em om and go riding once spring hits as I'm in MI, USA and we're in currently covered in snow XD

While there was a previous comment stating that sizes run small, mine are exactly the size marked on the boots. Great looking, great fit, great product.
