It definitely covers the gray and lasts longer than 3 days. The only drawback is that if you get it too far in the front of your forehead, it does not wear off very easily. I colored my hair on Saturday and today is Tuesday and I still have the stain close to the edge part of my forehead so I have to wear my hair hanging around my forehead so it's not so noticeable. Other than that I'm satisfied and will buy again.

This is a very good semi perm direct dye for the price! It actually worked on my very stubborn greys and this color dark brown is a cool tone no brassy undertone and its very pigmented! Beware though ware gloves, use vaseline, and clean up any splaters right away.

So I give this product four stars but I should give it two to three stars. I guess the reason for the four stars is because the color is great it catches your hair, it lasts a long time. It's a beautiful color. But the two to three stars is because it stains your skin so bad. And I was so surprised because I have used kiss Tintation for years now. I always use crimson, Cherry bomb, Ruby red, intense red. And I would have it smeared all over my scalp and sometimes on my forehead and it washes off. No problem. So I did it with this one thinking it was the same thing because it's by the same brand. Boy was I wrong. My scalp, my forehead, my ears my neck were stained for days. I would sit there and scrub and scrub and nothing would take it off. I had patches all over my head especially in the middle line of my head of just red. It was so embarrassing. So now I know to only put that on my ends and not on my scalp.

Terrible product. Weird chemical smell, made my scalp itchy, did NOT cover grey at all and though I ordered black, it gave me a warm brown tone- but nothing on the grey.

Okay listen. I'm not a hair color expert or even a snob about anything related. I'm just a mature chicken over here with a few gray feathers. 😉 The color definitely came out amazing. What I can't quite decide on is the thickness of this hair color liquid itself... I can only describe it as, pen ink. It was so, thick and goopy. I dunno'. I purchased this in a pinch and would m a y b e do it again. Maybe. The brand all around is great but honestly, I've purchased another brand very similar to this dark brown chocolate-y color in my local drugstore and it's application is just as simple as permanent boxed color. I don't NOT recommend this. Please try it if the application method is something you're okay with because the color really is super pretty.
