Why are the insole seperate and not glued inside the shoe like they normall are? Is it faulty or are they all like that?

Poor quality soles

I previously had these trainers for a good few years. Liked so much bought another pair. Received on 7th July and have probably wore them 10 or 15 times since then to my work and I work in an office. The soles have been wearing away badly and look as if they r not going to last much longer. Very disappointed with these.
