I'd forgotten
I heard "Chicken salt or regular?" on a TV show when the actor orders french fries (chips). Zowie! I had completely forgotten about that fast-food nuance. It was the first mention of 'chicken salt' since my fast food work year in Melbourne, NSW.Mitani was indeed the go-to brand. I remembered that detail. It's an insanely high $ import here, but still, it's chicken salt, for gosh sakes. It's one of those flavoring peculiarities that simply hasn't made it to the US yet. No one I've asked has even heard of it. Its only similar taste might be Lawry's, but that's for meat, not flavor nuance.Chicken salt is some brand secret combination of standard kitchen seasonings. But, dang, if I can conjure up the stuff from scratch. It's fantastic on hot fries. It's even better on pizza. The salt ingredient is finely ground, making it taste saltier than table salt ... go easy. There's no reason that it wouldn't be a go-to choice over straight salt on fast food in the US.If you've looked this far, you know that you have to give it a try.

WOW
Now I know what all the fuss is about. This is now my #1 topping for both fries and popcorn. The amount is small for the price but the flavor is worth it.

Good but not the families favorite
This is a good spice but we have tried several chicken salts. So far the favorite has been from JADA.

So great on fries!
I specifically bought these for fries. Super delicious seasoning. I believe I read about them from an email subscription. Possibly Thrillist. A win! Now if I could find some good shakable jalapeno seasoning.

Product open and dumped into bag
Product came entirely open and emptied into the bag and this isn’t even returnable. Buddy from Australia finally convinced me to try this and it arrives like this. Guess I’m out 15 bucks on salt I’ll never try.

Great on fries!
I bought this after seeing a TV cook recommend it. Apparently it's an Aussie thing and they don't sell it in Canada. Pity, because it is really great on fries. Will reorder if I run low.

Great Product
I first had chicken salt on chips/fries in Australia and thought it was great. To say I’m thrilled I’ve found it on Amazon is an understatement. I love the stuff and this is a particularly good one. Not just for on your chips but on cheesed in toast or in soup and to season meat whilst cooking. Very versatile and adds a great flavour

Small tub, but worth it if you love it!
Love a bit of chicken salt on just about everything, Mitani is the best tasting, I probably should have checked the size before buying as in my head I was going to receive a big tub, but it’s actually pretty tiny, still I’d buy it again though.
