Nice coax port

Decent, but I'm not sure it's weatherproof.
I used this on my enclosed car trailer to put a TV antenna outside. It serves the purpose, but I'm not convinced it's actually weatherproof. I would say weather resistant. I tried to put a screw-on cap on the terminal, but I can't close the cover with the cap. The spring on the door is very strong. The first time I opened it, I thought I might break the door. But once it's screwed into place on the wall it worked fine.

What I needed to hookup my satellite dish
Used this to hookup my dish satellite on my motorhome.

Nice Cable TV connector for RV
I have not installed it yet but it looks like strongly build and will do what it supposed to do. There is not that many parts involved so I look forward to using it years to come.

Does not have gold contacts
One photo shows gold connector, other image does not. What was delivered was standard chrome connectors. For outdoor use, gold connectors are essential to limit rust and corrosion. Packaging also claims gold connectors.

will not work without modification
The door is held closed by pressure from rotation of curved plastic against flat plastic. In order to work as designed the installer must disassemble and adjust rounded plastic on the lid by cutting or sanding. With this adjustment the unit works, however manufacturing of this unit must be changed for most installers unfamiliar with poorly engineered products.
