I am NOT a Legos guy. But, looking at this set, I can see where it would be very easy to get hooked on this kind of past time. This is a BIG set with a lot of pieces. The way that they are well packaged into different vehicles makes it SO interesting. This is the kind of toy that an adult and child can spend a lot of time together with, bonding and expanding their minds. This set will build on natural curiosity, and geospatial skills. Being able to see different parts and conceive how they would fit together is a skill that really needs to be nurtured. It's the foundation of so many other skill sets.Two things that I wish they had done. First, I wish the box was re-sealable. I don't like the idea of all of those opened bags of blocks falling out of the box, to be scattered everywhere and wind up missing when you need them. And, most importantly, why didn't they include some figures with this set? Some good guys and bad guys really would have made the set complete. Maybe, you can use those figures from other sets. But, why leave them out of this one?Anyway, based on the set itself, I am VERY intrigued by it and just wish I had a young kid to share it with. I'm tempted to build it myself. But, I really don't have any place to do it and I don't think my wife would appreciate it as much as I do.Each vehicle is in it's own numbered bag (sometimes two) with corresponding instructions on the sheet. The instruction sheet is pictures only. No wording. This is great. Because, this helps to develop correlation skills. I think that this set is perfect for the budding building block enthusiast, young or old. And, this is a great way to develop very important skills in children and build bonds between child and adult.

This police set reminds me of the city police Lego set. It has the large truck that can fit the helicopter as well as a car and motorbike. Total the kit has 469 pieces. What my grandson like the most is that the set has numerous pieces to play with . The multiple vehicles make it very enjoyable and fun to set the scene.The instructions come in a poster format. That is one of my least favorite ways to display instructions. My grandson is also not a huge fan of it. I think we both just prefer being able to turn each page and take it step-by-step. The poster obviously does go step-by-step but it’s very large and it’s cumbersome and it takes up a ton of space. Even though I don’t like the format of the instructions they were easy to follow. I think that is good. It’s important to realize that it’s not Lego and it’s certainly not exactly the same. But given the price and the large quantity it was an enjoyable build for him. He was also able to complete the entire project by himself. At the end it’s a very playable toy.

My sons are huge fans of emergency responders as we have both police and fire in our family. At 5 and 7 - Legos are pretty much their choice game. They can play legos for hours and LOVE getting new sets. New sets last for a day before they make them better and start mixing with their other legos.What I love most about this set is that it is compatible with the existing brand name lego pieces we already own. Lego sets are so expensive, we look for alternatives but would not buy if they didn’t mix together.This set is affordable, comes with clear directions and multiple different things to build. This kept my kids entertained for hours and they were thrilled with it. WIN WIN!

nice set work just like the market leader. They come already separated in numbered bags and each number corresponds to a design which is great for the first time of building. My five year old had lot of fun building them. He needed some guidance to follow the instructions but that is because he is still learning to follow all the steps. On the whole the steps were clear and well organized. You can make all of the models illustrated with the parts provided without having to break anything up.

This set is really cool. It's compatible with LEGO and fun to build. I really like all the guns and accessories that it came with too. They're very detailed. This set is 100% worth the money.

Good set but it was missing 1 piece. We opened each bag individually and checked for all pieces before assembling each section and found that we had all but 1.
