Works perfectly
I have a sewing machine that I purchased several years ago specifically with the intention of being able to travel with it when I was a costume mom. It's an inexpensive machine and I've had a couple of things break or go missing. But, it works and I decided that it was fine for regular, everyday sewing and would let me keep my embroidery machine more dedicated to embroidery. This was one of the pieces that I needed to replace. At first, I thought it didn't quite work as it didn't quite seem to lock in place, but I realized I just needed to give it a little oomph and it clicked right in. Since then, I haven't really had any issues taking it on or off when replacing my bobbin.

Does not fit my machine
I purchase this for my brother JX2517 which it was supposed to be compatible with however, it does not fit. It is too small and does not stay in place. Very disappointed.
