You scrub it on. Wait for it to dry. Then try wiping it off. Works like crap. Turtle wax headlight cleaner does a better job.

Would this work on a floating solar fountain cell that gets wet constantly & has oxidized from black to white?

Probably not It had no effect on my sun baked headlight

Can I use it for my windshield?

I wouldn't, the headlight covers are plastic, and the abrasives in this product may just leave you with a scratched up glass windshield. I hope that helped.

Can you use on a shower door that has hard water build up?

I don't know If this product will remove hard water from your shower door but a portable steam cleaner will.
