My retainers never felt completely clean, and brushing them and/or soaking them seemed to cause damage, over time. This product is fabulous! Easy to use, works great. Highly recommend! In fact, I sent the link to my dentist to let him know to recommend to other patients!

Pros: compact, lithium battery (no need to keep plugged in), sleek look, only takes 2.5 minutesCons: shallow so water drips out of sides when I move it to sink to empty it out, hard to start had to press power icon several times, no sound I’m used to a whirring sound so I’m secure it’s working might be a pro to others who prefer the silence (I know it’s working because the blue light turns on then shuts off when it’s done), still noticed aligners not super clean as they were with others I’ve tried maybe because it’s hard to fully immerse them in water since it’s so shallow.

I use this daily. It is much better than the other brands. It holds the charge and with the mirrored insides it makes a more thorough job of UV cleaning.

Great for my dentures

Worked fine for a few weeks. Then the light starter to flicker and get weaker every day. Then a few days later it just entirely stopped working. Doesn't seem to charge.
