Best EDC for it's size. 14500 is the way to go
This is my go to edc light and has been for years. It's bright enough to get positive id at 7-20 yards (get a modlite if you need more candela for the extra range). The battery last pretty long but I carry a spare because you can't tell how much charge is left unless you check the voltage in a smart charger. If I drop it in the dark, it's super easy to find with the glowing tail switch. It's the perfect size and weight to still be able to use your mouth to hold it if you need to, but you can also clip it on your hat or a random object. I also like that I can use AA batteries if I don't have access to a Li battery charger. Only issue is durability. They can survive waist height drops on concrete, but I'd say no more than 1000 drops before either the head or the tail switch stop working (usually it's the head - I've only had one tail switch break and it was probably from use not from dropping it). The glass doesn't break, the led just stops lighting up. I don't think it burnt out from use, but I went over a year before that happened. Oh and did I mention it's only around $30

Good pocket EDC flashlight
It is a perfect size to fit in my pocket so I can have with me all the time. It appears to be sturdy, waterproof and the switch is easy to use without accidentally turning on in my pocket. The Cree LED is one of the best all-around general purpose units so it throws a good clean beam and battery life should be above most other LEDs. It comes with a wrist strap or you can easily attach a lanyard with the small holes on the tailcap. The ability to use AA or rechargeable battery means that you can easily find them anywhere at a reasonable cost. I would recommend this flashlight for everyday carry.

Great EDC light!
I like this light so much that I actually took my 18650 light out if my tool bag! Lithium rechargeable batteries usually last me a week or two of use at work. The only thing I don't like is that it's a reverse clicky style, but it's necessary for cycling modes. Would also prefer a deeper pocket clip but it works fine as is.

Really Super little flashlight.
This is perfect to have on hand at all times.Super small and lightweight, with excellent everyday general purpose uses.I like how it remembers the brightness mode, as was, when it was shut off.If you shut it off in dim mode, next time it is switched on, it will begin in dim mode.Very useful when you wake in the dark, and a red light is just not going to cut-it. Then I want a dim white light at first. More gentle on one's eyes when first woken.I carry it in an old belt pouch from a long gone AA Mag light. Not a day goes by that its not on my belt in that pouch.I did eventually remove and store the pocket clip. That made it easier to extract from that pouch.Persons might be surprised how often it gets used.Even in a store when the sales person is searching out something for me in a box in a dark corner. It's quite a divergent beam. Almost flood.Which is very useful for general purposes. If I want a very tight concentrated beam to pick up what's going on across the valley, with say the Coyotes, or the Burros. I pick a different flashlight out of my travel trailer.I was so impressed I even bought an extra one to give to the neighbor camped near mePerfect for a lady to keep in her purse.

Small, and BRIGHT!
This is what I was looking for: compact and sturdy (built of aluminum), and works on regular old AA's I can buy anywhere without having to charge it on a USB port. This is the mighty mouse of flashlights - not so bright it kills the battery in a minute, but easily bright enough to find your way anywhere in the dark, with different brightness settings depending on need.Would definitely buy again.

Best AA light out there for me
This is a total win. Brightest AA (NIMH) light I've ever seen. Mode spacing and memory works great. Have not used Lithium in it yet because I don't feel the need. Super lightweight and bright (for AA) pocket light. Nice machining and finish, all for super affordable price, whats not to like??

Literally every single day use for work and life
I bought this awes light and I use it with a rechargeable 14500 battery from nitecore. It is super bright, ultra reliable, and I use it every single day. It has been by far my most useful buy this past year. The different modes are super simple and intuitive to click through, and it rides unnoticed in my pockets every single day. I have bought more as gifts, but this little light is brighter than my maglights, and super tough. The magnetic tail is also awesome when I have used it. I usually keep the clicky tail on though. Awesome super tough, super bright, and super reliable flashlight that lasts for hours and through a lot of abuse. You won't regret it. Best on the market imo, especially for the price. 10 / 10 would recommend.

Cool little flashlight but could be better.
This is a cool little, inexpensive flashlight. I love the size. It’s for my hands, the perfect sized AA EDC flashlight. My only problems are….. The actual beam tint isn’t that great. The hot spot is kind of ok, but the spill is that purplish/bluseish tint, and some of that is within the hot spot as well as some yellow. Also…the pocket clip is pretty poor, and not nearly as good as the pocket clips that come on the Olight i5R or the Acebeam Rider Rx.The UI interface is really good with 4 different levels of brightness…low, medium, high, and turbo. This really is a very nice, light weight, and inexpensive flashlight, but there are other flashlights that are at, or close to, the same price point, with both a much better and consistent led tint, and a better pocket clip. I would have purchased the Acebeam Rider Rx instead. The Rider Rx has the same amount of brightness levels, runs on a AA or 14500 battery, it is a little heavier than the Lumintop AA Tool 2.0, but not by much. It also has the ability to tail stand, and the two things that are much better on the Rider Rx than the Lumintop….the pocket clip, and the 219F Led!
