Compared to others of equal quality this one was the least expensive. We have a lot of traffic coming through the areas where we have rugs on wood floors and these keep the rugs secure and in place without slipping. It gives just a little bit of cushion under thin rugs which is nice. A great cost effective safety measure that can easily be cut to size with a pair of scissors!

I bought the 8x10 size and it’s actually about an inch larger than my rug which was great because I was able to trim the edges to fit. My rug no longer slips across the floor when my kid and dog are running around.

Giving this 4 stars instead of 5 due to the terrible smell when you open this. This non-skid rug pad is very good quality and has prevented our rugs from slipping as well as our small dog’s stairs to the bed. The only issue I have with this is the terrible chemical smell that takes over everything when you open the bag. My whole house smelled like this and I had a hard time airing it out. I suffer from near daily migraines and the smell of this caused one as soon as i opened it and lasted the rest of the day. I bought a second one of these because the quality was so good. I learned my lesson after the first one and opened the second one outside and let it sit in the sun so the smell would dissipate.

the rug stills slip a bit but a lot better

After searching for piece of rubber for my small piece of rug I read what they had listed n I read some reviews. I had hoped this rubber piece would work. Using it for when my dogs jump off the bed instead onto the hardwood floors I’d have a rubber backing piece of carpet. It does not work for my needs! Slip n slides moving carpet piece around. I also had put pieces of rubber under my footstool by my bed. I again hoped the rubber would keep my footstool still. This maybe good for someone but I wouldnt buy again for me.

They work really well. I just needed to replace the ones I had.

Works great on my throw rugs that want to creep around on the floor. I've even cut them up and just used portions - that seems to work too. Very pleased to have rugs that stay in place now.

This product is as advertised and adds a bit of non-slip beyond what the rug already had. That said, it doesn't hold up to my dog's pawing at the rug and moving it around, which is what I hoped for when I bought it.

I purchased this to go under some stair runners I have that tend to slide around. This did nothing to alleviate this issue. I also placed this on the bottom of a couple of drawers where things tend to slide around and it works very well. Not sure why it doesn't work with the runners.
