Defective
One of the two cells was having 6.5 volts instead of 12 volts. So better buy the 5 piece set instead of two pieces. Even if one them is defective you loss will be less.

Exact replacement for my trailer jack fob
This battery is the exact same brand that was in the remote control fob that came with my Husky Brute tongue jack that I installed on my travel trailer. I suppose it works the same too, but it did not solve my problem. I thought the battery was dead in the fob, so I replaced it with one of these, but the fob still didn't work. Then I tried the spare fob, and it doesn't work either, so I guess the problem is in the jack itself...a much more expensive problem! :-(
