I purchased this wheelchair for my disabled 8 year old son.He has a huge wheelchair supplied by wheelchair services but it weighs 36 kg and I can not lift it easily and it doesn’t fit into the boot of most cars.I also have arthritis so a light wheelchair is essential.He is tall for his age ( wearing 10-11 clothes) and the narrow sized chair I purchased is perfect for him.His feet just touch the footplates at the highest position without a seat cushion , which I purchased as an extra and it was not needed as the chair is very well padded and comfy.I should imagine he has a few years of use in this chair.It folds up nice and small and even fits in the boot of my tiny 2017 Kia Picanto with the parcel shelf removed and I still have room for 3 bags of groceries !It is light and easy to lift in and out of the car.It is very easy to push and looks nice.The lap belt is very useful for a child but he can undo it, so parents of children should consider that.I use a special neoprene positioning safety strap which is removable and fastens at the back to keep him safe.You can buy these for about £20.This chair was an absolute bargain at £99 on Prime and delivered within 48 hours.It is over £160 cheaper than if you purchased it directly from the company that make them.I saw this exact chair in a local mobility shop for £299 and was able to try it before I purchased it.Very pleased with this chair, it will mean I can get out and about with my son more.

My 11 year old daughter needs a wheelchair for longer distances, she was using a McLaren Major buggy but after some rude comments we decided we needed to get her something that looked abit more grown up. We purchased the narrow size chair.Her feet don't reach the foot plates so I have bought calf straps to make her more comfy. It folds really easy and very light weight easily lifted in and out of car. The ride is good on smooth ground but get on the cobbles or unmade paths not so good.My daughter loves the purple colour frame which matches her glasses.

Wonderful to find a wheelchair for an adult that will fit easily through doorframes in the house without taking half the paint off! Also great height/width to fit at an average sized dining table. Fits easily in our average size bathroom.Being used by an adult male, 11st and 5ft 10". Nice size seat for him and is not too tight or an uncomfy squeeze - he can even fit in it with an outdoor jacket on.Padded seat is comfortable to sit in.Very easy to push & manoeuvre.Lightweight, so easy for me to lift into the car.Folds up to nice compact size and even fits very easily on backseat of our standard sized Astra car when the boot is full of shopping. The footrests remove quickly and easily.We've only used it twice outdoors - wheels easy to clean for main use indoors.Nice choice of colours.It's easy to clean and maintain.Easy to use on carpet and laminate flooringVery happy with it.Excellent price - great value***I would say the only thing that is a negative, - but may be a big negative for some people - is that you can't lock the brakes on. Therefore you can't help the person in/out of the chair, as you need to stay pressing the brake levers to keep the chair still, and also you can't leave them sitting in the chair whilst opening car doors etc unless you're on a flat piece of ground!*** If they put over-ride brakes on it, then it would be perfect!

This wheelchair was purchased for my 6 year old disabled grandson. With the benefit of 6 weeks use since purchase, I consider this wheelchair an excellent purchase. It is lightweight and therefore easy to get in & out of the car boot; it is very light to wheel around & makes it considerably easier to use than previous wheelchairs. It is very straightforward & easy to collapse and extend which means it is straightforward & quick to unload from the car and get ready for use. Putting it away again in the car after use is equally straightforward & quick. It comes in 3 widths, with the narrow option ideal for a child. The brakes operate like the brakes on a bike, with a setting for locking the wheels to keep the wheelchair fixed in place when lifting the child into & out of it. The footrests are height adjustable & easy to adjust. Although the wheelchair is aluminium light, it is robust & very stable. My grandson loves it; his mother(who uses it constantly) is delighted with it; and my wife & I(his grandparents) find it so straightforward & easy to use. 10/10It comes with refundable VAT for disabled users.

Not [ yet ?] an expert on wheelchairs but have limited experience with a couple found unsuitable before getting this one. Its light enough to lift into a car boot with a lip while being pretty sturdy. Don't know whether this model is that sturdy that it has been "crash-tested" for sitting in a vehicle. The method of unfolding and folding is clear and simple and the clip on footrests assemble logically [ once I worked out whch was left and which right]. The seat needs a cushion if to be used for a long period, but is comfortable enough as-is for shortish journeys. As are the tyres. This particular model is attendant propelled - there is, I believe, a brother model which has the larger rear wheel for self propelled [ not seen nor tried]. The ready lock on the brake system is wizard. Useful footpads on the rear to lever up to mount a low kerb.At the moment I conclude that whoever designed this knew what they were doing.ON ANOTHER SUBJECT, I see the financial double check system now everywhere has spread to writing reviews for Amazon.
