This thin lightweight herringbone patterned throw of raw cotton just arrived, and I cannot as yet judge how it will wear over time. It arrive nicely wrapped and a coin size Turkish nazar “evil eye” blue bead was included, which I’ve hung on the door of my apartment, as they do in Istanbul.I had read a couple of customer reviews where the throw arrived with snags, and sure enough, mine had one, which I pulled through to the reverse side with a small paper clip. It has a good feel, and I have folded it over the arm of a leather sofa to cozy up the look of my living room for the colder months. I have other throws that are yummy feeling to snuggle up in, but this one is on display as a contrast to the brown leather sofa.I anticipate that rough handling and careless machine washing or drying will produce more snags, so I plan to cold water wash it carefully and line dry. I cannot speak to the absorbency until I wash it.

This is perfect for the summer. High-quality and beautiful.
