Anyone else have a problem with episodes just suddenly stopping? I am aggravated by this, it has happened so many times on so many shows I watch regularly, Grimm, The Originals, Vikings, Teen Wolf, and Orphan Black. I really get into each season and episode and anxiously wait for the next episode and they suddenly stop coming in. I pay for Prime which I'm still getting screwed on seeing how Amazon only allows maybe the first 2,3 seasons to be free and every other season after that you have to pay. I'm about ready to cut Amazon off completely, the way I see it, with so many phone apps coming out where anyone can buy/sell, stream movies, play games, I don't need to hassle with Amazon any longer. Besides they don't care about the customer, anytime I need to speak with customer service there's no contact number to call, it's only email. I figure the reason they have email as customer service is so they can send back and automated response. I've complained about this numerous times and each time I receive the same response word for word, so that tells me they leave it up to a machine to deal with their customers.

The quality of the picture is excellent in Blu-ray. It renders transparently the velvet darks and brilliant highlights of this Gothic program. I am so glad they released it in Blu-ray but disappointed it was one of the WB titles released on-demand. I don't know why some are released on-demand and not others, especially when this was hard to get for it kept selling out and had to be back-ordered.Correction after first review:After doing some research, I found out that fortunately, Warner Archive Blu-rays are of good quality and pressed, rather than burned onto a BD-R. I do not know if that is the case with their DVDs. (It may also not be the case with other "MOD" (on-demand) collections like Sony's Choice Collection.) For some reason they do not include the paper episode guide that is inside the likewise on-demand DVD releases. As with the usual releases, there are few extras.

Amazing

The Originals is my favorite vampire series, probably because it reminds me of my inner circle of friends. I could not wait for redbox to release the 3rd season, so I just had to purchase it, I didn't regret it one bit. Things adanced and my friend and I fell continuously in love with the characters and the show became more intense, even introducing characters from its "parent show" The Vampire Diaries, in which my friend had quite a bit if knowledge on. And as expected, it was the best season to date, I hear the following season will be shorter with less plot summary, but that may make for some increasingly intense shows, although I prefer the 20+ shows per season. I am not a huge TV buff, but these series have me wanting more and more and more, I can't get enough.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with The Originals. I started watching this series late - mid 3rd season and instantly fell in love with it - ordered the first 2 seasons right away. I don't watch any other CW show and never watched the Vampire Diaries of which the Originals was a spin-off, but you don't have to watch it to understand what's going on. All the Originals characters are intriguing and engaging and that's what I look for in a show. I have to really feel for characters and I do. Love the story lines and this 3rd season was my favorite followed by the 1st season then the 2nd season. This is a must watch and I've told everyone I know to start watching.

Ich bin ein rieser Vampire Diarys und The Originals Fan. Wer sich diese Serie noch nicht angeschaut hat, sollte das in jedem Fall tun! Joseph Morgan ist einfach sowie auch die anderen Darsteller, ein Top Schauspieler und bringt sowohl mit Gestik als auch mit Körpersprache und Worten, seiner Stimme english und auch der Deutschen Synchron Stimme, den perfekt Urvampir auf den Bildschirm. Es wird nie langweilig und ich hoffe, dass es auch noch weitere Staffeln wie bei Vampire Diarys geben wird. Wer die Vampir Saga beginnen möchte, sollte mit allen Staffeln von Vampire Diarys starten und sich danach erst alles von The Originals anschauen. Dann versteht man auch wenn zwischendurch welche aus den Staffeln von Vampire Diarys auf der Matte bei The Originals stehen. Es sind 2 Parallele Storys die aber zusammen gehören. Wenn man Vampire Diarys vollständig gesehen hat, erschliesst sich durch The Originals (Die Story der Urvampire) der Rest.

Loved this series! Enjoyed revisiting the haunts of New Orleans through it!!

Great condition, however the top snap closure of the box broke off the first time I opened it.
