Large battery almost useless until this was added.
This active balancer made an Eve 280 8S2P LFP battery perform as expected vs weird over voltages and erratic shutdowns. Most BMS are passive, <200 mA balance current. With large batteries, the imbalance easily exceeds the small amount. When I upgraded my batteries from 200A-hr to 560 A-hr, I had many unexpected performance issues. After I installed one of these, the battery is working darn near perfectly. I couldn't run my A/C overnight until I got this.

Works as advertised
Works as advertised. Installed on badly out of balance 16 cell and with other model of same brand on 8 cell series string. After a few days, all cells balanced very accurately and within manufacturers specs.

Blew it up
I'm not new to this stuff but I blew I up in about 3 seconds on a 7s 5p 18650... Capacitor lifted like a rocket middle B2... I must have done something wrong...

Drained my battery
Voltage would drop to 9v over night but after disconnected from balancer, slowly discharges normally.

Amazing What this thing did to my old battery pack.
I have a 7s16p 24v 50ah battery pack that wouldn’t last longer than 30 minutes. I took it apart solder these wires on this device re-balanced my batteries now my battery pack works like new again. Read up on rebalancing your batteries. I was just about to throw away my batteries thinking they were bad when I read an article about rebalancing. The BMS that came with my battery pack was supposed to keep them balance but obviously it didn’t this thing saved me $800 in new batteries. 👍👍👍

Fantastic Active Balancer!
I'm using this active balancer on used cells in an 8s20p LifePo4 100Ah pack. I have had a lot of trouble balancing the cells, even with a solid smart BMS the voltage difference was as high as 300mV between the cells. This active balancer did the job! Within 24 hours I had all cell voltages hovering around 3.60v!
